| О себе: | I was born on January 15, 1997, at 5:25 in the evening and apparently I was a "singer"... more like screamer from the beginning. I started singing when I was 8 after listening to Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman sing "Time To Say Goodbye" on a CD my Father brought home from Europe. When I was 9 my parents bought the movie "The Phantom of the Opera" and to put it quite bluntly I was hooked. I taught myself how to sing by listening to the greats on Youtube. My singing teachers were Bocelli, Groban, Brightman, Pavarotti, Elvis, etc. I learned my craft by listening to the masters. I spent the next few years singing in cafes and Open Mics around my hometown, but all of that changed as of the 9th of July 2011. On July 9th my Mother and I attended a Josh Groban concert at the Resch Center. They had a system where you could text him a question and my Mom, being the very outgoing kind of person she is, asked to borrow someones cellphone (we don't have cellphones) and she sent him a text asking if we could sing a duet. Josh answered my Mother's and my request and brought me onstage for a duet of "To Where You Are". At the after concert signing Josh expressed his "more than amazed" reaction to my voice, and said I was his Christine for the night. No, I don't remember any of this exchange. What I "remember" of the event I took from the videos I saw on YouTube afterwards. I was so scared I really wasn't scared at all. I wasn't shaking in the slightest, it was more like I was running on pure adrenaline or autopilot and it was the most thrilling moment of my life. Since then I have been traveling the US and as of 2013 Europe as well, performing in concerts and festivals. I also have won over 13 music competitions including "Music For Kids" an International TV talent show held in Iasi, Romania (Europe). On a more personal note, I have a very active brain and I tend to get bored easily. When my siblings and I grow up we are going to start our own law firm, "Johnson, Johnson, Johnson, & Johnson, Attorney's at Law" or "J4". It has a nice ring to it. As for my personal beliefs, I am a true idealist at heart though this can be problematic at times. When I was little and to this day I was heavily interested in King Henry VIII and his many wives, the TITANIC, the history and romances of and behind King Arthur & Camelot, Ancient Egypt, Pompeii, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, etc. I am a bit of an artist as well, I paint, sculpt and sketch ~ as far as painting goes, oil painting is my favourite. | Деятельность: | I recently started singing lessons with Rock/Heavy Metal vocalist Johnny Turppa whose unorthodox style of vocal coaching works well with my unorthodox style of singing. Aside from singing, I enjoy Horseback Riding, and Community Service at "Paul's Pantry" and for the "Salvation Army". I am an active supporter of St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the American Cancer (my Mom had cancer when I was 13 to 14 years old) & Heart Associations (my Grandpa passed away of heart disease before I was born) |
